Pinetec currently processes over 65,000 cubic metres of small pine sawlogs per annum or about 20,000 boards per day from our milling operation. We employ the necessary skills and technology for the optimum recovery of pine timber. After debarking, logs are processed through twin circular saws, in-line edgers and bandsaw round a bouts. Boards produced range from 12mm to 150mm in thickness and 75mm to 200mm in width; lengths are 2.4m, 3.0m, 3.3m and 3.6m. A package-docking saw then cuts the boards to required lengths for pallet manufacturing or for direct sale. For more specialised and accurate requirements a computer controlled optimising docking saw is used.

Pinetec produces a range of timber packaging products, which help facilitate despatch of products from Western Australia's manufacturing and minerals downstream processing plants. From scalloped pipe gluts to drilled and docked boards to suit an individual company's timber packaging requirements.
