Pinetec Limited was established on 1st May 1989 for the purpose of a management buyout of Maclean Consolidated Industries Pty Ltd, a pine sawmilling and manufacturing operation. That company, for many years, had previously traded under the name of Consolidated Pine Industries Ltd and had operated from its premises in Osborne Park since 1960. Pinetec was converted into a public company on 27th February 2001.

Today Pinetec operates on a 2.0 hectare purpose built site in the Perth suburb of Bassendean, 10 kilometres northeast of the CBD.

Pinetec is one of the largest integrated pine sawmilling and pallet manufacturing facilities in Australia. It has become a key supplier of timber packaging to a wide range of industrial and resource clientele. Our products are considered integral to the export of a number of important value-added commodities, which, in turn, contribute greatly to the thriving export based economy of Western Australia. Our sawmilling and manufacturing operations employ the latest technology and a committed workforce, ensuring production of quality products and just in time deliveries.
